Software Developer @ Pilz Ireland

► One of six members on the 2016 Pilz Sports & Social Committee: Involves arranging events such as the Summer Barbecue, Christmas Party & many other internal & external events.

► Developed a 'Murder Mystery' site, for employees to enter puzzle solutions and get clues.

► Captain of the Adventure Sports Club: Involves arranging employee sporting events on a monthly basis e.g. Karting, Paintballing, Rock Climbing, Zip lining etc.

► Represented Pilz at various graduate recruitment fairs.

► Currently engaging in daily scrums & end of sprint retrospectives as part of following the Agile approach to software development.

► Integrated a reports framework from another tool, into our existing tool, making it as reusable as possible.

► Developed an Image Management System for the organising of all icons/images used within each teams software in the company, in Ireland. Technologies used involve PHP, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, JavaScript

► In charge of developing an iPhone application, which was demonstrated to the owners of the company, who flew over from Germany (for many company meetings). This app is still being demonstrated at fairs by the company to increase the desirability of an existing product.

► Developed software using Eclipse, which involves using the Eclipse Modelling Framework (EMF), the Graphical Editing Framework (GEF) and several other Java frameworks.

► Was part of an 'Adopt-a-School' teaching program, in which myself and another colleague from Pilz visit a local primary school every Friday afternoon to teach a group of 30 10-12 year-olds the basics of programming using a program called Scratch.
